Jamie's Name

On Monday Brian went in and registered Jamie's Birth. He returned home with a Birth Certificate which had the name of James Brian Hunter on it. I suppose that he just couldn't let it go without getting his name in there somewhere. Actually it was me who suggested it as he was walking out the door that morning. This decision was much easier and quicker then choosing the other name had been.

I might as well add a few pictures of Jamie, since I am talking about him.

Jamie is almost as long as his bed, but he still fits!!!

Grandma was able to get this picture of Jamie's face after he hiccuped.

Lizzie Crawling

Here are a few pictures of Lizzie practicing her new skill. She really seems to like being able to get around by herself. She also knows where her toys are and how to get them out by herself so she can keep herself very well entertained. However I have also noticed that she is not as interested in her toys now and would rather just crawl and find all the things that we would rather she didn't. She also makes a very good Hoover.















She crawls all around the living room,















and when ever possible finds her way into the kitchen!!!



Here is a little video on Lizzie crawling. She makes some cute noises when she is crawling so you may want to turn up the volume.

Lizzie and Jamie's First Meeting

The next day Jamie was finally born and later that afternoon Lizzie was able to meet her brother for the first time. My mom took these pictures so I didn't have them when I put up the announcement of his birth but I still wanted to share them.

Lizzie has finally figured out how to smile for the camera. I just hope that smile stays when she figures out who is next to her.

Yes, she does still have smiles for the Jamie, or is she just nervous.

Lizzie is starting to laugh at him already, yet again she does sound a little nervous. I much prefer laughing to screaming anytime.

Well, Jamie and I are alone again at last, but it was so very nice to have the visitors!!!

Pumpkin Carving

Well I have finally been able to get on the computer for a few minutes to put some pictures on that I have been meaning to for a while, they are after all from Halloween. This is what Lizzie and my mom got up to while I was trying to have a baby.

This is Lizzie with her pumpkin!!

Her part in the process was to put the top on which she has done very well!!!

It didn't stay there for to long, but she seems to love that pumpkin!!

She likes it so much she wanted to climb right inside of it!! I don't think that she is going to fit though!!

In the end, she couldn't figure out what else it could be for but to eat, which happens to most anything you give her. She was not patient enough to wait for it to be made into pie, so she didn't think it tasted very good!!
