Earlier today as we get to a friend's house -

Kids: I don't want to get out of the car. I don't like dogs.

Mom: No dogs live here.

Kids: I don't like dogs.

This is a very common occurrence. Sometimes making it so we can't go places.

This evening at dinner-

Lizzie: When I turn four I am going to like dogs.

Mom: Your birthday is in five days. So in five days you will like dogs?

Lizzie: Yes, when I turn four I will like dogs.

Mom: Lizzie, what did you learn about at church today?

Lizzie: I don't know.

Mom: You have a paper asking what you should do if someone doesn't want to share their crayons with you?

Lizzie: Get mad.

Mom: Should we get Chloe some ice cream, too?

Lizzie: No, she doesn't have any teeth. (This is her answer whenever we want to feed something to Chloe.) Warm it up and put it in a bottle, then she can eat it.

(I am amazed with how well Lizzie has this world figured out.)

Dear Heavenly Father,

Help us to sleep good.

Wake up, have yummy breakfast, burrr yummy (cold cereal).

Mom - I think she is hungry, are you going to feel her?

Jamie - Yes.

Mom - Do you have any milk for her?

Jamie - Yes.

Mom - Where?

Jamie pulls up his shirt and points to his belly button.
