Happy Birthday!!!

The other day the kids decided to start singing Happy Birthday. So I decided to have them sing to their cousin who had just had a birthday. I couldn't figure out any other way to get cousin Eli to be able to see the video so I figured I had better put it up here so that he could see it, too.

Then I figured it was only far that they sing to their sibling soon to be born. So here they are singing to Chloe!!!

Baby Chloe

Well, Baby Hunter has finally arrived! While we get the word out, we wanted to share with all our friends the angel that our family has been blessed with. Debbie and I both feel we are so blessed to have this small infant join our family. She is just so perfect is every way.

We are thinking of naming her Chloe May Hunter (still to be confirmed). But, Chloe was born with a weight of 9 lbs 2 oz. She was 21 3/4 inches. She is certainly a big baby and very healthy. Both Mom and Baby are doing very well.

One Down, Many To Go

I had a long list of projects to accomplish before the baby comes that I have been very slow in doing. Friday morning it was raining and I didn't have any place to go. The kids decided that they wanted to color so I thought that I might be able to work on one of these projects. Of course as soon as I started to work on it the kids decided that what I was doing was much more fun then coloring and they were all about helping. It was hard to let them help with the first two parts but they did a great job helping stuff the pillow once I had cut it out and sewed it up. We only got one done before nap time, but by the end of the day we had finished six pillows to go on our couches.

Or was that six pillows for the kids to play with and stack all on one couch for a nice bed. I really wanted something to put behind my back so that my knees could bend at the end of the couch. They are nice and add much to our boring beige couches.

Next to get the curtains for the upstairs, maybe I will get some work done on them before the baby comes.

Did You See Cows?

Today, I told a story that I remembered that I wanted to post on the blog and figured I had better do it before I forgot again.

My Relief Society plans a trip to the Manhattan Temple every month, and last month I was able to go with them. One of the ladies watches the kids while the others are able to go to the temple. It is great for those of us who may not get to go otherwise. So I dropped the kids off and rode with a few other sisters to the temple.

That night as we are talking about our days over dinner with dad, Lizzie starts talking about cows. I had a hard time figuring out what my going to the temple had to do with seeing cows, especially the temple in Manhattan. No cows there. Lizzie really wanted to know if I had seen cows. I finally remembered showing her a picture of a baptismal font in a temple weeks before and mentioning how it rested on the backs of the oxen, or cows. I was so amazed that she had remembered this and therefore associated the temple with cows.
